Our publishing approach is carefully tailored to support authors at every stage of their scholarly journey.
Publishing a book is a collaborative journey involving several key stages. Our experienced editorial teams work closely with authors to provide guidance and support throughout the entire process.
Submit a Book ProposalAuthors may submit their book proposal by contacting the relevant acquisitions editor in their subject area or by completing our online submission form.
Initial AssessmentThe acquisitions editor reviews the proposal to assess its academic quality and relevance to our publishing program. Where appropriate, the proposal may be evaluated by an external subject expert to provide additional peer-review feedback.
Review and DiscussionAuthors discuss the reviewers’ comments with their editor and revise the proposal as needed before resubmission.
Editorial Approval and ContractOnce the proposal is approved by the editorial board, a publishing contract is issued. The contract outlines the scope of the project, manuscript requirements, and agreed delivery timelines.
Manuscript Preparation and Peer ReviewDuring the writing phase, the editor provides subject-specific guidelines, including formatting instructions, image and permission requirements, and other technical details. The completed manuscript may undergo external peer review, typically taking several months. Authors are encouraged to consult their editor at any stage of this process.
The finalized manuscript is submitted to the editor via email or a secure file transfer service.
Production and TypesettingA production editor becomes the primary point of contact during this stage. The manuscript undergoes copy-editing, professional typesetting, and proofreading to ensure quality and consistency.
Publication, Distribution, and MarketingUpon publication, the book is made available through our online platform and global distribution channels. Our sales and marketing teams actively promote the book to reach relevant academic, research, and professional audiences.
